A dear friend sent me this link a couple days ago.

(CNN) — A Florida appeals court Wednesday struck down a state law barring gay men and lesbians from adoption on the basis of equal protection under law.

She knew I’d be really excited to hear this great news.  As you may recall, this has been in the media off and on for a number of years.  The fact that this law was struck down is phenomenal, what’s even more phenomenal is that mainstream media didn’t make a really big deal out of this.

The news that Florida has recognized same gender couples can be appropriate parents is a huge step in the right direction for gay couples not only in Florida, but all over the US.

An argument often states that gays are out to destroy American families.

A more accurate statement would be that gays are desperately trying to create American families.  We’re fighting to have our relationships acknowledged and protected under the law.  We’re fighting for the right to adopt children and give them a loving and stable upbringing. We’re doing everything we possibly can to build the American dream. And we have to fight each and every single step of the way.

Conservative America speaks out of both sides of its mouth. On one hand saying we’re shallow, self centered, promiscuous trash out to ruin stable families; on the other hand they continually do all that they can to make it impossible for us to create a stable family of our own.

Thank you Florida, on behalf of same gender couples, and the kids who are going to have fantastic lives growing up with parents who so much want them.

Today’s Gay Agenda: Be prepared for the ignorant pedophilia outrage that is sure to start any moment.

That is great news. Once in a while good people win nasty cases.
